Getting to Know Fellow SEC-ers

I’ve already said why no rivalry in the country even comes close to matching the intensity of Missouri-Kansas because of the violence in the two states’ pasts. If you want a storied rivalry that’s as historic in pure sports terms though, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better rivalry than Alabama-Auburn.

The two schools do NOT get along, and their on-field rivalry heated up in the past couple of years, with Auburn winning the national championship one year after Alabama, albeit amid a swirling storm of controversy around quarterback Cam Newton.

FanSided’s Alabama blog has put together an eBook entitled “The Hater’s Guide to Auburn,” with 25 chapters each detailing a specific reason to hate Auburn. The eBook is available on Amazon for 99 cents.

From the product description on Amazon:

"The Alabama-Auburn rivalry is one of the most intense in the country, and now the editors of BamaHammer.com present 25 of the best reasons for Alabama fans to hate the school down the road. Whether you’re new to the rivalry and want an introductory course, or a long-time fan who just wants to laugh at the other team, this guide will give you reasons to hate Auburn all year long."

I’ll definitely be buying it for my plane flight back to Mizzou this weekend, and I want to make a Mizzou eBook of my own. I want to put together an eBook to be ready by Christmas time, chronicling the history of the Border War both on and off the field. To do this, I want fan feedback though. Would you spend 99 cents on an eBook dedicated to the Border War?

Also, most importantly, please post in the comments section all the reasons why YOU hate the University of Kansas. The best ones will go in the book.
