Mizzou in the Morning: November 5

Good morning Tiger fans! We are all probably beginning to get those midweek blues. No football game until Saturday, no basketball game until Monday… Ugh. Here are some good links to read to get out of those midweek blues and to get you ready for this weekend!
Kentucky Loses Two Top Receivers For Missouri Game:
Freshman receiver Alexander Montgomery suffered an ACL injury on Saturday and is out for the season, meaning he’ll miss this Saturday’s upset bid against Mizzou in Lexington. Montgomery injured himself celebrating a touchdown in Kentucky’s 48-14 win over Alabama State on Saturday. Kentucky will also be without receiver Ryan Timmons, who sprained his ankle against Alabama State.
For Mizzou Volleyball, the song remains the same: 27 and OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH
So what all has gone down in the past four weeks? Well, a lot, but one thing has remained the same. The count of losses for the Mizzou Tiger Volleyball team has remained at zero.
Mizzou Basketball Survives Scare from Mules
Former Missouri player and longtime Tigers assistant coach Kim Anderson was seven minutes away from knocking off his alma mater with his Division II Central Missouri Mules on Friday night, but he never let that possibility enter his mind. Not with the firepower Frank Haith had on the court for the Tigers.
As always, if you have any links for me to post for Mizzou in the Morning, post them in the comments!
