The former center started 47 consecutive games for the Tigers between 2000 and 2003, starting his tenure under Larry Smith but finishing with current Mizzou coach Gary Pinkel. He was an All Big 12 first team selection during his senior season in 2003 and a second team selection in 2002.

Ricker will look forward to working with Outland Trophy watch list member Evan Boehm, the current center and anchor of the Tigers offensive line. In addition he will have to help them recover from the loss of the left side of their line with Max Copeland and Justin Britt both graduating at the end of last season.
