Today we bring you the latest Missouri football and basketball recruiting updates, NFL Draft info, and other links that are pressing to Tiger Nation.

This evening, the 2017 NFL Draft kicks off in Philadelphia, PA. While fans, media, and teams alike will expect to land the star football stud of their desire, we really just want to know one thing: Where will Charles Harris play? I am locked in that he winds up in Dallas.

Basketball is another hot-button topic in Columbia. Fans, commits, players, and coaches alike have worked adamantly to woo some of the top talent to CoMo. News on Jeremiah Tilmon has been deafeningly quiet, since his NLI release from Illinois.

Recent rumors have swirled that Tilmon has reconsidered committing with Illinois, since the Illini landed “Mr. Basketball” himself, Kevin Smith.

However, 247sports has Tilmon as 100% committed to play for Mizzou in 2017.

The other question fans are begging an answer to, is where will Kevin Knox, II commit? We already know that his timeline to announce his decision is at the beginning of May, but with at least four programs actively recruiting him (UNC, Duke, Kentucky, and Missouri), fans have been starving for a lead.

PowerMizzou recently reported that the Tigers were out of the running, while tweets from Kevin Knox, Sr., have stated otherwise.

Most recently, he stated that Knox hasn’t eliminated any of his choices, yet. “There is still a chance to be a Tiger,” Kevin Knox, Sr. said via text.

On the gridiron, at least two four-star prospects have Missouri on their minds. Tackles Michael Thompson and Trevor Trout have narrowed their choices down, and Missouri is a finalist.

Playing the part of Athletic Director is never an easy job, but Mizzou AD Jim Sterk has worked hard, and believes that Tigers football will rebound in the fall.

On a more solemn, but promising note, AD Sterk says that the ongoing Missouri academic fraud case won’t affect the basketball program.

In its spring review, the Kansas City Star reported that running back Damerea Crockett is setting his sights high for his return in the 2017 season. We’ll hope he’s talking about his performance on the field, and not in extracurricular activities.

Continuing its spring review series, tight end Kendall Blanton has set the bar higher for himself, as he aspires to emerge as a star, after polishing his mental game.

Leaving off on basketball, Jontay Porter is still unsure if he will reclassify to play with the Tigers in 2017. My thought is, he can only get better with another year of experience before committing in 2018.
