On Friday, Missouri Tigers baseball and softball were in action, and we heard a little more about the Miami Dolphins’ new defensive end, Charles Harris.

Baseball had a rough start against Texas A&M, losing 11-1. The Tigers went into game two of the double-header, needing a win to even the series, or risk being swept by the Aggies.

Softball traveled to Baton Rouge in a late season visit to the LSU Tigers. In the road series finale, softball dropped game one to LSU, 3-2.

Both Tiger clubs face each other on Saturday in a double-header, with Mizzou needing to win both games to take the series from LSU.

With their 22nd overall pick, the Miami Dolphins selected Missouri Tigers defensive end Charles Harris.

While he did not go where I predicted him to, he finds himself in a great situation with Miami.

The Dolphins plan to work Harris into the starting lineup to provide an instant pass-rush.

Transitioning back to the baseball diamond, MLB Pipeline released its recent rankings, where we find pitcher Tanner Houck rated as the No. 18 draft prospect.

Missouri’s Bryce Montes de Oca was also rated the No. 71 draft prospect by MLB Pipeline.

While his durability remains a question mark, Montes de Oca sill has plenty of time to move up on draft boards.

Later today, softball is back in action as it prepares for a double-header at LSU, while baseball will resume play Sunday for its last game against Texas A&M.
