Missouri’s top-5 moments from 2016-17
While football and basketball season was mostly abysmal for Missouri, there was also a number of positive takeaways from other athletic programs in 2016.
Both basketball and football offered some positive takeaways, as well. The Tigers defense on the gridiron started to show more promise, and beat a few teams that it should have, while basketball found a new head coach and has been highly successful in its recruiting efforts.

This afternoon, softball visits Wichita State for its last, mid-week double-header. Missouri enters the series with some steam, after it split a double-header with LSU.
On Tuesday, MUTigers announced the 2017-18 cheerleading squads, ensuring that football and basketball games will be rife with spirit.
While there has been no official word, and there is no official word still, Missouri basketball is “starting to feel good” about Jeremiah Tilmon.
Also, just to keep track of events, Kevin Knox will probably announce his decision at some point from Thursday to Sunday.
