Whether it’s recruiting, transfers, or NFL Draft selections, Missouri fans have seen it all within the last seven days!

So far, the biggest news of the week came Wednesday night, when guard Kassius Robertson announced that he will transfer his final year of eligibility to play for the Missouri Tigers.

Today (through Sunday) begins the final countdown of finding out where Kevin Knox will commit to play ball. Duke and Carolina are the favorites, but I’m not giving up on Mizzou. It may be a 1,000:1 odd, but if he commits, then that’s a huge payout!

Meanwhile, in women’s basketball news, freshman Amber Smith accepted an invitation to attend the 2017 USA Basketball Women’s U19 World Cup Team trials.

The trials will take place May 18-21 at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO.

As we round-out basketball, let’s take a peek at some future recruiting targets that Missouri is interested in of the 2018 recruiting season.

More great news on multiple fronts of Missouri athletics: Four programs (volleyball, tennis, women’s golf, and soccer) were honored by the NCAA for academic excellence.

From the courts to the diamond, baseball successfully broke its losing streak, as it unloaded on Murray State, with a final score of 11-0.

Next-up for the Tigers is a road series at Vanderbilt, which Mizzou has struggled against since joining the SEC. This series should be interesting, and will hopefully result in at least a series win for the Tigers.

As the Tigers begin training preparations for the football season, we are reminded that with the departures of Aarion Penton and John Gibson, Mizzou will introduce a few new names into the starting lineup. Will they hold down the backfield any better?

Next: Decision time for Kevin Knox

Finally, a quick look at all the SEC East defensive “to-do” lists. Missouri’s, again, focuses on transitioning the new faces at cornerback.
