It’s been a crazy week, so why not toss in the proposal that Missouri should move from the SEC East to the West?

When former coaches retire, they tend to take on new roles, such as game day broadcaster, color commentator, or as liaison for the team or school where they spent most of their coaching career. Some coaches just like to stir the pot.

On Monday, former Auburn head coach Pat Dye, made the proposal that Missouri should switch its division placement with Auburn. While this move would benefit Auburn tremendously, it would also assure Mizzou that dates with Alabama and LSU are a sure thing. Some coaches should just enjoy retirement.

While former coach Dye was talking from his ear, Missouri quarterback commit James Foster earned an invitation to the Elite 11 finals in California.

Baseball was back in action Tuesday night, hosting its last home game of the season against Eastern Kentucky. The Tigers pulled off a convincing 13-4 win, and prepare to visit Tennessee on Thursday. Missouri has now won three of its last four.

Head coach Steve Bieser was very pleased with his guys’ ability to rebound from an otherwise tumultuous season.

"They went through some tough times, but they are bouncing back and playing well down the stretch, which is always a good sign."

Finally, returning to the hardwood, it’s great to see Missouri returning to its roots following an unexpectedly, extremely successful recruiting season. On a side note, there’s still room for one more – *ahem* Jontay Porter.
