4. Alyssa Munlyn

The middle blocker from Suwanee, GA earned her third straight All-American honor this year as she totaled 189 blocks, 159 block assists and a .381 hitting percentage, which was sixth-best for a single season in program history.

Nationally, Munlyn ranked Top-5 in total blocks, Top-20 in blocks per set and Top-30 in hitting percentage. In conference play, she ranked Top-5 overall in hitting, solo blocks, block assists, total blocks and blocks per set.

She was named to the SEC All-Defensive Team of the Week three different times, giving her 10 weekly awards in her three-year tenure with the program. The only other Tigers to earn three straight honors from the AVCA are Lisa Henning and Carly Kan.

She also earned All-Region Team in the Southeast honors. Her spectacular season helped lead the team to their second consecutive Sweet 16 appearance, and finish 20th in the national ranking. It is the first time in program history that the Tigers have finished in the top-20 in the national rankings in back-to-back years.

In addition to Munlyn, outside hitter Kira Larson also earned AVCA All-Region honors. Munlyn will return for her senior season and is looking to match or exceed the elite eight mark; the highest that the program has gone under coach Wayne Kreklow.
