Emanuel Hall, wide receiver, Chicago Bears

Hall’s main competition to make the Bears’ team appears to be Javon Wims and Marvin Hall, both have played in the NFL already.

Hall had surgery in June but was expected to be ready to begin camp. The Bears now are settled in and Hall is not on the PUP list, but he still hasn’t practiced.

Once he gets on the field, which should be any day, Hall’s athleticism might give him the edge on making the 53-man roster.

Paul Adams, offensive tackle, New York Giants

Adams has an uphill battle ahead of him. He is listed as the third-string left tackle behind Nate Solder and Victor Salako.

Swing tackle Chad Wheeler also could be in the mix.

A switch to guard could be another opportunity for Adams to make the team. Versatility might be needed for the former Missouri left tackle.

Terez Hall, outside linebacker, New England Patriots

The Patriots have three solid outside linebackers in Dont’a Hightower, Kyle Van Noy and Jamie Collins.

If Hall makes the team, special teams certainly is the route.

It looks like he’ll have to beat out Christian Sam and possibly even Brandon King, who just signed a two-year deal to stay with New England, to make the roster.
