Damarea Crockett, running back, Houston Texans

Lamar Miller is the starter, and D’Onta Foreman likely is the backup. After that, Crockett will have to overtake Taiwan Jones, fellow undrafted free-agent pickup Karan Higdon and second-year pro Buddy Howell.

Crockett left Mizzou with a year on the table. Playing well on special teams and becoming a strong blocker will help him make the team in Houston.

Kendall Blanton, tight end, Los Angeles Rams

Blanton currently is listed fourth on the depth chart along with also-undrafted tight ends Keenen Brown and Romeo Brooker. Johnny Mudnt looks to be the third guy for the Rams.

But Los Angeles might only keep three tight ends. Gerald Everett and Tyler Higbee are locks.

Walter Palmore, defensive tackle, Houston Texans

After two years with the Tigers, Palmore landed on the Texans roster after going undrafted. He is on the non-football injury list to start camp.

Unofficially, Palmore sits behind several players on the D-Line for the Texans. He’ll probably be used on several spots as a reserve this summer for the 3-4 Texans to see if he has a chance.
