More from Football

Team captains — Missouri: QB Kelly Bryant, RB Larry Rountree III, CB DeMarkus Acy, LB Cale Garrett and DT Jordan Elliott; Florida: OG Solomon Kindley, RB D’Andre Swift and LB Tae Crowder.

Kickoff forecast — Mostly cloudy, 40 percent chance of light rain; winds Northeast 9 to 14 mph, gusty; 49 degrees.

Other conference games — No. 5 Alabama at Mississippi State; No. 4 Georgia at No. 12 Auburn; Kentucky at Vanderbilt; No. 1 LSU at Ole Miss; South Carolina at Texas A&M.

Florida game plan — Florida is going to try to attack the Tigers with a solid passing game. The Gators will do this by using multiple wide receivers along with their tight end and running back. A lot of different players can catch the football for junior QB Kyle Trask.

On defense, the Gators have plenty of players at all positions who can do their jobs. They have a solid defensive front seven led by top tackler David Reese II. They are a top-20 rushing defense, so this is a game where Mizzou might want to try to match Florida’s passing game.

Missouri game plan — The Tigers expect quarterback Kelly Bryant to play, though that was said last week as well. He is in a better position to start, and Mizzou will need him. He might not be able to lead a running game against Florida, but this is a game where Bryant can pass and try to hurt the Gators with his own tight end and multiple passing options. Also, WR Johnathon Johnson, who missed last game with an illness, should be back.

On defense, Mizzou is one of the better units Florida will face. The Gators have a good offense, but Mizzou has a good defense. Whichever team comes out with the advantage here has a better chance to win the game. The Gators will attempt to pass on the Tigers, so this will be a big game for the Mizzou secondary.
