Mizzou football will announce Eli Drinkwitz as the new football coach.

When: 10:45 a.m.

Where: Show Me Club in the South End Zone of Memorial Stadium.

Live stream: The press conference is available on the ESPN App.

Contract info: Drinkwitz will receive $4 million per year, according to the Columbia Daily Tribune. He made $750,000 to coach Appalachian State. The Tigers will buy out his contract at $1.7 million.

Coaching history: Before Appalachian State, Drinkwitz made coaching stops at Auburn, Arkansas State, Boise State and North Carolina State. His first head-coaching job was last season, where he led Appalachian State to a 12-1 record, a No. 20 ranking in the Associated Press Top 25, and a Sun Belt Conference Championship.

Assistant news: The first coaching move may already have happened. Mizzou offensive line coach Brad Davis will head to Arkansas to coach under newly hired Sam Pittman, FOX’s Bruce Feldman reported.

Odom’s statement: Coach Barry Odom last week issued his first public statement after the Tigers let him go.

"“It has been such an honor to be the Head Coach at The University of Missouri and live in this community for the past 20 plus years. From the first day I was recruited by Coach Larry Smith and stepped on campus as a student-athlete, this place became HOME. This was never just a job to me! I’m thankful for Coach Gary Pinkel giving me an opportunity in college coaching … I am so thankful for all of my players over the years, you guys have changed my life for the better. Thanks to my staff, you all gave Mizzou your best and our kids the support and platform to be successful. I wish the Mizzou Program all the best moving forward."
