With many conferences trending towards conference-only play, Missouri will have a tough road with a solid set of SEC East foes, but luckily they have winnable games against the west.

Most of the Power-5 conferences have announced that they will play a conference-only schedule for the upcoming season. The Big-10 started this and they were followed by the PAC-12 and ACC.

However, the SEC hasn’t yet made a decision on what football will look like this fall.

Assuming the conference follows in the same footsteps, here is our prediction of the SEC East standings with a schedule limited to SEC foes.

7. Vanderbilt- 2019 record: 3-9 (1-7 SEC)

Vandy has struggled a lot recently against SEC opponents. Every one of their seven losses came in blowout fashion, the closest being a 28-10 loss to Tennessee.

Losing Ke’Shawn Vaughn will only make things much tougher for the Commodores. They lack a passing attack as is (averaged 172 passing yards per game in 2019) and they have now lost their best player on offense.

With their current struggles against the conference, its hard to imagine them winning more than one SEC game, if that.

Conference Record Prediction: 0-8
