The definitive Missouri football opponent tier list

A-Tier
Kentucky Wildcats
A dangerous animal to humans and animals alike, the wildcat lives at the top of the food chain wherever it goes. While there are many kinds of wild cats in America, Kentucky’s iconography seems to portray the American bobcat.
Missouri travels to Kentucky, for the Tigers’ first SEC test of the season
Tennessee Volunteers
Another human mascot, the Tennessee Volunteer is in reference to Tennesseans who volunteered to fight in the War of 1812.
Unlike the other human mascots on this list, the Volunteer sits in A-tier because, well, they’ve got guns. They can hold their own with the animals and people ranked below them.
Texas A&M can even thank one of these volunteers, Davy Crockett, for helping gain Texas’ independence.
If all goes well, Missouri will look to move to 5-0 when they take on the Vols on October 2.
