Drew Garrett- State College Spikes
Garrett made two appearances out of the bullpen last week, with solid results. His first appearance against Williamsport saw him allow 1 hit in his one inning pitched, and had 4 strikeouts. 3 runs crossed because of multiple errors by the catcher.
Garrett’s second outing saw him go 2 innings, allowing 1 hit and striking out 4. Garrett is consistently getting strikeouts without too many hits or walks and it’s a sight to behold.
Kyle Potthoff-Cape Catfish
Potthoff played one game last week, a 7-2 loss to Alton. He was in for 4.2 innings, allowing 5 earned runs on 3 hits and 6 walks.
That’s not a good look for the redshirt freshman, who is still trying to establish his role for Missouri.
