Missouri football has never played these AAC teams

The AAC recently underwent a significant change in conference realignment, but its current state contains four programs that Missouri has never faced.

Specifically, Missouri football has never played against Charlotte, Florida Atlantic, South Florida, or UTSA. None of these schools are exactly near Missouri, nor have any of them ever played power conference-level ball.

In addition, each of these schools are either relatively new to the FBS level or having a football program at all. Florida Atlantic and South Florida did not have programs just three decades ago, while Charlotte and UTSA were not FBS programs more than a decade ago.

Perhaps the time will come for the Tigers to match up with some of these schools, but it’s not surprising that relatively new teams from southern Florida, San Antonio, and North Carolina haven’t gotten a shot at the Tigers.
