The Missouri Tigers own the Border War game in Columbia!
After a massive 42-31 victory over the Kansas Jayhawks, the Tigers got to bang the Border War drum to show their win. In a hard-fought game, Missouri was able to hold Kansas to just 10 points in the final three quarters after allowing 21 in the first.
Missouri was able to take the lead in the fourth, and after a huge stop with just under three minutes left in the game, Missouri just had to hold onto the ball until the end of the game. Running back Jamal Roberts had different plans in mind. When Roberts saw the seam up the side of the sideline, instead of running the ball and going down in bounds on the goal line, Roberts punched it in, sticking it to the Jayhawks.

This is a very heated rivalry, so for Roberts to just pile on the score is certainly going to rub Kansas the wrong way, but hey, this is a rivalry, and anything goes in rivalries.
Missouri played one heck of a game against Kansas, even with a bit of a slow start. The offense exploded when it needed to, with quarterback Beau Pribula going 30-for-39 for 334 passing yards and three passing touchdowns. Pribula was a lot quieter on the ground this game, with nine carries for only six yards, and didn't find the endzone on the ground.
The run game was huge for the Tigers as well, and Roberts led the way with 143 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown on 13 carries. Ahmad Hardy followed up with 112 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown as well to bring the rushing yard total to 261. That means Missouri's offense had a total of 595 yards, which is huge, especially against a tough opponent like Kansas.
This is a huge statement win for the Tigers, especially preparing to go into SEC play in the coming weeks. Kansas is a threat in the Big 12, so this win will come into play when the College Football Playoff resumes are being looked at.
