3 Worst head coach hires in Missouri football history

Don Faurot had the football stadium named after him and will go down as one of the best coaches in Missouri football history. However, what about the coaches that didn't pan out?

Missouri football has been around for a long time, since 1890. There has been a history of mediocre coaches with Mizzou in the Big 8 and Big 12 before they made the move to the SEC in 2012. Even after the move to the SEC, Missouri is just now starting to become a threat behind Eliah Drinkwitz.

Looking back at Missouri's coaching football coaching history, three names stand out as some of the worst. They are coaches who were not even close to having a .500 coaching record.

There have been great coaches in Mizzou football history like Gary Oinkel, Dan Devine, or Don Faurot, whom the football stadium is named after.

So let's take a look at those three names that did not do so great with the Tigers.
