1963-1976. Andy Russell. . Steelers. player. 531. Missouri NFL. . Andy Russell. LB

Andy Russell was an amazing linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers, but what was even more impressive was after his rookie season, he went and served in the military for a few years and then returned to football.

Russell had a great career with the Steelers and is known to be on their all-time team list. In his 13-year career on the field, Russell recorded 18 interceptions, returning one for a touchdown, 10 fumble recoveries, and 38 sacks.

He was also a seven-time Pro Bowler and a Second Team All-Pro in 1972. Russell also has two Super Bowl rings to show for his time with the Steelers. Russell was a Steelers legend so it just doesn't seem right now to have him on this list.
