Greatest NFL careers in Missouri football history
There have been many Tigers to go on and have great careers in the NFL.
Roger Wehrli had a long career in the NFL lasting 14 years. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2007 and is known as one of the best players to ever play at Missouri.
After being drafted in the 1969 NFL Draft with the 19th overall pick, Wehrli immediately played for the Cardinals. He started every game except for one in his rookie season recording three interceptions. He placed second in voting for Defensive Rookie of the Year.
Playing his entire career with the Cardinals, Wehrli recorded 40 interceptions returning two for touchdowns, 22 fumble recoveries, and one sack. Even though he never won a Super Bowl, Wehlrli was a seven-time Pro Bowler, a Second Team All-Pro, and a three-time First Team All-Pro.
