Missouri Athletics just received an anonymous donation worth $62 million to go towards renovations and the NIL initiative. This is the largest donation that the athletic department has ever received. The donor requested to remain anonymous but asked that $50 million go towards renovations to Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium and $12 million go towards Mizzou's Tiger Fund, the NIL initiative.

The main renovations that the athletics department has for the stadium are renovations to the North Concourse along with other facility enhancement and fan amenities. Mizzou had one of their best seasons in 2023 than they have had in years going 11-2 with a win over Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl.

Athletic director Desireé Reed-Francois in a statement talked about how this donation helps their plans for renovations and will help make Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium one of the top atmospheres in college football. In 2023 Mizzou had five sellout games, more than they have had in years. This money will add to the passion Tiger fans showed this season.

This donation doubles Mizzou's previous largest donation which they received back in 2012 from the Kansas City Sports Trust. Head football coach Eli Drinkwitz also spoke on the matter of the donation. He said that a donation like this speaks to the loyalty this donor has to the University of Missouri and it's football program.

Head coach Drinkwitz is excited to see the lasting renovations for years to come and mentioned the saying of his program, "Why stop now?" This
