The Chargers have seemed to be a team that had a lot of potential to win in all in years past. However, they can never pull it all together and put a complete team on the field. They need another cornerback to complement Asante Samuel Jr and Kris Abrams-Draine can be that guy.

Abrams-Draine has speed, length, and quickness to keep up with faster wide receivers. In college, he recorded 135 total tackles and seven interceptions. He can be all over the field and put pressure on receivers to make a contested catch.

The Chargers need to beef up their defense especially in the secondary to give thier defensive line time to get to the quarterback. Abrams-Draine can do that for new head coach Jim Harbaugh.
