Other conference games — Charleston Southern at South Carolina; Vanderbilt at Purdue; No. 12 Texas A&M at No. 1 Clemson; Southern Mississippi at Mississippi State; New Mexico State at No. 2 Alabama; Murray State at No. 3 Georgia; BYU at Tennessee; No. 6 LSU at No. 9 Texas; Tulane at No. 10 Auburn; UT Martin at No. 11 Florida; Eastern Michigan at Kentucky; Arkansas at Ole Miss.

Kickoff forecast — Sunny, 76 degrees, winds: 2-7 mph out of the east, 0 percent chance of rain.

West Virginia game plan — The Mountaineers will want to do better on the ground as they travel to Columbia. They have talented wide receivers outside, but last year’s top back Kennedy McKoy will hope to balance the offense. On defense, the Mountaineers will try to stop the Mizzou passing attack with five players in the secondary.

Missouri game plan — The Tigers must do a better job of taking care of the football. Likewise, Mizzou will want to create some turnovers this week, which should keep them from falling in a hole. Mizzou will try to get running back Larry Rountree III more opportunities as well as tight end Albert Okwuegbunam. Mizzou’s secondary will be a focus point, especially with its tackling issues from a week ago.
