QB3: Taylor Powell- 6’2″, 210 lbs (RS Jr.)

Powell served as the backup to Bryant last season and he performed solidly when he was called upon last year. Unfortunately, that may be where Powell is best: Backing up someone else.

Not to knock the quarterback, but he seems to lack the star potential that other quarterbacks on the roster have. Powell is someone who can step in and run an offense, but he may not have the capability to take games over. In the SEC, you need better than solid quarterback play to make noise within the conference.

Powell has a fighting chance to be the backup quarterback, but I predict he will be slotted behind the other two guys on this list.
