Following its bye week that succeeded a 17-10 loss to the now No. 15-ranked Vanderbilt Commodores, Mizzou football stayed at No. 19 in the Associated Press Poll.

The Tigers climbed to No. 17 in the USA Today Coaches Poll, up from No. 20 a week ago. The movement comes as the Tigers (6–2, 2–2 SEC) prepare for a crucial home matchup against No. 3 Texas A&M this Saturday at Faurot Field at 2:30 p.m. CT. The Aggies also had a bye last weekend and enter undefeated at 8–0 overall, 5–0 in SEC play.

After its second loss of the season, the Tigers’ window into the College Football Playoff remains small; they still have opportunities to strengthen their résumé with marquee games against a pair of top 15 teams in Texas A&M and Oklahoma.

This is where Missouri and its upcoming opponents stand in the national rankings ahead of the College Football Playoff Poll which releases on Tuesday Nov. 4.
