The Missouri baseball team has experienced its share of struggles and frustrations over the past nine games. Losing eight of its last nine, the Tigers rebounded last night, beating the Bulldogs 8-5, setting up the rubber match with Georgia this afternoon at 12:30.

After the Bulldogs shut-out Mizzou on Thursday night, 3-0, the Tigers rallied in game two, with a big third inning. Leading Georgia 2-1, at the top of the third, the Tigers hauled-off on a 5-2 scoring tangent, a 1-0 run in the fourth inning, and Georgia responded with two unanswered runs in the fifth inning, which later set up this afternoon’s tie-breaker.

Pitching for the Tigers, Cole Bartlett pitched a 2.27 era. MUTigers has more on last night’s game.
